As Israel was being prepared to enter a land which they did not yet know, God gave promise to Joshua who would lead Israel.  As we face the unknowns of the COVID-19, we too must hear the promise of God given long ago and still stands as God's strong word to eternity.

Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9

Also the promise of our Good Shepherd, Jesus, in John 10:27-29
My Sheep hear my voice, and I know the, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. I and the Father are one.

And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age. Matthew 28:20
The Body of Christ has a tremendous hope and certainty that God has given to us and which we can demonstrate in our actions and care of one another in the face of this health issue.

However, we also have been blessed with sanctified reason and wisdom. It is with this that we plan to proceed for in times of crisis, we desperately need what God provides. So we WILL continue having Divine Services at our regular scheduled times and are looking at adding others to be sensitive to the CDC recommendations and Kansas Governor Kelly's move to ban all gatherings of 50 people or more in churches and to provide proper availability of "social distancing."

Some Considerations.....
  • We continue the suspension of handshakes and encourage the use of the hand sanitizers and even more hand washing.
  • We OBSERVE appropriate social spacing as recommended by CDC & KDHE.
  • We are suspending temporarily the attendance sheets. We ask that you bring a note to provide to Pastor for all prayer requests.
  • We ask you to pick up your own bulletin and service in the narthex and to dispose of them after you are done if you are not taking them home.
  • We encourage increased home devotions and prayers.
  • Lord's Supper - This will be prepared by Altar Guild wearing exam gloves and the distribution will take place by Pastor and Elder wearing exam gloves. This may be adapted after we run through it for the first time.
  • Remember that you can send your offering to the Church if you are unable to attend for health and safety reasons or gather them weekly and bring them when you are able to return.
  • Pray for your neighbor, health care workers, leaders, neighbors.
  • Be strong in the Lord and in His might power as you seek to keep healthy.
